You want to turn agricultural waste into energy for rural entrepreneurs in Africa? Join the Global Alliance for Productive Biogas!

FACT with Practical Action (UK) and ETC Foundation (the Netherlands) is developing a Global Alliance for Productive Biogas. The overall goal is the alleviation of poverty by providing people with access to sustainable and reliable sources of energy. The specific objectives are multifold; from raising awareness about the benefits of productive biogas, to exchange of information and resource mobilization. The beneficiaries include businesses, institutions and other parties from the demand and supply side in the sector. Productive biogas is important because it is a sustainable source of energy, increases productivity, income and effectiveness and recycles agricultural waste into valuable nutrients for farmers. read more about it here.
