The year 2010 was the final year of the project "Jatropha oil for local development in Mozambique" which was implemented by FACT and the local organisation Ajuda de Desenvolvimento de Povo para Povo (ADPP) between 2007-2010. The goal of this project was to explore the suitability of using Jatropha for local development. Small farmers integrate Jatropha in their farming systems and the oil is extracted locally for local use.
