FACT Foundation is happy to announce the starting of its Program Innovation on Biofuels for Local Development. This program aims to accelerate innovations in biofuels that make the biofuels more affordable and reliable for the rural people in  developing countries. It will enhance the sustainable development of the biofuels that can assist people to enhance their incomes by providing energy for local production and transport. It can also enhance community social services by increasing its quality. The innovations can be in the area of technology, or social or economic aspects.

The program will start with 6 projects. The program will ask the project partners to actively engage in exchange and analysis to generate and disseminate the knowledge and expertise gathered in the field projects.
