The coconut handbook can now be downloaded. Work is still in progress and a more complete version including an annex with details on agricultural production and a chapter on economics of the coconut chain will follow shortly.

The Jatropha Handbook
Over the years, FACT has prepared a comprehensive Handbook on Jatropha. This handbook gives insight in how to produce Jatropha as a crop, how to convert the seeds to oil, and how the oil and by products can be used for different end uses. Economic viability and project organization models will be dealt with. The Handbook also contains a chapter on the sustainability issues related to Jatropha. We hope that it will bring realism in this topic for the potential practitioners, investors, NGO’s and GO’s and intermediaries
The first edition of the handbook was released in 2008; a fully revised version is now available for downloading below (version April 2010). Please note that the individual chapters each contain their respective annexes.
