Media Library
The Media Library makes use of advanced database software to help you find the information you need. The library is accessed through the menu entry "Media Library" in the left menu, or by using the search box at the right. The library is then opened in a secondary pane on the website. It is closed by clicking the "close" button in the library pane.
Using the library
The library includes documents, photographs, movies and web articles. You can search through documents, articles (i.e. the pages on the FACT website), movies, and pictures. Just fill in a part of the title, author, or a word you are looking for. We have assigned keywords to most items, which may prove useful as well. In the search box, you can use logical operators (AND and OR) to enhance your search query.
The library pane consists of two parts: at the left, the full library structure is given in a way very similar to the Windows Explorer. You can browse a map, go up a level, or downward. At the right, the items in the map are displayed and you can open or download them from this place.
Library contents
The library contents is still small but new items are added weekly. FACT's own publications are free to use, unless otherwise indicated. Publications by third parties are only included with their consent. If you believe an item has been included erroneously, please contact us immediately to correct this situation. On the other hand, we will be happy to receive material about jatropha and biofuels for development you may want to share with others.
We have included interesting documents available elsewhere on the internet by making external links. This means, that the basic bibliographical information about the item is given together with a brief description and possibly a review from our side. You are then directed to a third-party site to view the item. External items are not always free of cost.
