Recently, the anti-poverty organization ActionAid embarked on a campaign against the use of biofuels, under the heading of "Demand Zero Meals per Gallon". From its own experience with different biofuels in a large number of countries, FACT Foundation believes that biofuels can contribute positively to local development, and that through their campaign ActionAid risks harming the people they want to help.
