FACT proudly presents its latest FACT sheet on sugar palm. The sheet contains information on the plant, its products and processing of sugar palm into biofuel. The factsheet is based onthe information in the report in Dutch "Nieuwe grondstoffen voor Biobrandstoffen" or english: new feedstock for biofuels that was written by Wolter Elbersen and Leo Oyen for WUR-AFSG  and published by Senternovem in its GAVE program.The FACT sheet can be downloaded here.

FACT sheets are living documents that are updated regularly when new knowledge becomes available. Main target groups of this document are parties involved in the development of sustainable biofuels in developing countries (NGO’s, Small and Medium sized Enterprises, local entrepreneurs, local governments, local farmers and farmers groups). More sheets will be made available in the near future.
